A few weeks ago i made a plan so that i could do my assessments on certain days and so that i could finish my assessments so i can progress onto another course next year.

This is my plan and i have highlighted in orange the days that have already gone. I have wrote what days i am going to do the treatments on and i have ticked them off when i have completed them.

I am planning to do a make up on the 19.5.16 so after that date i would have finished, until my teacher sets me other assessments to complete.

Today in salon i did my first basic make - up. I did it in exactly half an hour which is really good because that is time a basic make - up is suppose to be done in.

I covered my clients clothing so that if i dropped any make - up or if there is any excess that drops off the towel would have caught it. I also prepared there face for the make - up by cleansing, toning, and moisturizing. When i was preparing the clients face i put a headband on them so none of the products would have gone in their hair.

I did't communicate a lot with the client,so my target is to communicate with the client a lot more. My target is to also keep my work space clean because i didn't put things back where they were suppose to go.

I have two more basic make - up's left and i am planning to do them in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

Today in my work experience i did questions for a job interview for Ragdale Hall. In these questions they were about why i am doing work experience, and what qualities i needed to have to  be a good team player, and also why it is good to be organised, and also what are my plans after college.

I have also been practicing painting nails. I painted my partners nails a orange metallic colour. I think i did quite well i just need to practice a little bit more.

This week i started to make my cv. I put all of my personal details which is my name, phone number, email and address. I also added my personal statement which is what employees are looking for. I also added my all of work experiences, i am currently doing my work experience at college. I also added my education and what grades i had got, i put my secondary school and my maths and english grades in and i also added what course i am currently doing at college. I added what my hobbies and interests are, mainly what i like to do outside of college and work.

This week we have started to do a trade test. The person who was testing me pointed out that i had good posture and i was really calm and also i knew what i was doing. She pointed out that i need to pin bits of my hair back so i look neat, clean and professional.

The person who was testing me said i could talk a little bit more, they also said that i was really good at painting the nails.

I got 34 marks out of 40, I got good marks for my introduction, client care and body language. I think i could have improved on giving advice to the client and the explanation of what i was doing.

I only had 30 minutes to do the trade test and i finished all the manicure i just needed to put the top coat on the nails.

In the future i would like to do media hair and makeup.

 In five years i see myself working in a television 

set or/and doing wedding and prom makeup etc.

Her blog is alot better than mine because she has more pictures and more colour and more information and tabs to go to different pages,

In my first session of Work Experience i started to create my blog. I am happy that i have chosen the
simple background because i like simple things and things that don't seem to complicated.    

The importance of making a blog is that in my future it will help my career and this is also a skill and other people in the workplace might not be able to do a blog.

When i go for a job interview i can show them my progress even if the job is for beauty or not.
